EQUILIBRIUM
Influenced by the local landscapes and art deco history of Innisfail, Equilibrium is a hub of creativity.
Every element from the biophilic interior landscaping to the bold statement finishes has been carefully designed and selected to facilitate creativity and inspiration.

Visitors have access to the latest technologies and are encouraged to make use of the many facilities the center has to offer in order to find their own work-play-balance.
The philosophy guiding the concept design has been that self-regulated productivity with options to engage or disengage intermittently will produce good quality work that doesn’t come at the cost of mental health. Included in the design are nap pods for a passive rest, a sand-pit cinema showing silent films for an active rest, work pods for creative collaboration and small table seating areas for more intimate meetings or quiet study.

Grow your mind, rest your soul, find your Equilibrium.

NEO GOTHIC REIMAGINED
The brief was to take an historical Australian design era and place it in a contemporary setting. I chose Neo Gothic.
DESIGN CONCEPT

THE LAST BANQUET
The brief was to transform an existing local space into a new space that would benefit and serve the community. This conceptual cafe was to be introduced to the Mount Gravatt and Holland Park area. I took my inspiration from the pictured artworks by Tishk Barzanji and even went so far as to recommend the menu items take their names from the artwork titles and be bound in a leather book.
INPIRATION

THE WATSON'S KITCHEN
The brief was to design a kitchen for an active family of four that would suit their growing needs.
VITALITY
Definition - The power giving continuance of life, present in all living things.
To have vitality is to have the ability to grow | to change | to experience.
It is youth
It is energy
It is life
To have vitality is to have the ability to grow | to change | to experience.
It is youth
It is energy
It is life
My goal is to bring this kitchen to life with nods to the natural wonder that is life on earth. I am inspired by the bright colours of fruit, the gentle flow of a river and the majesty of trees.
With carefully chosen joinery and finishes, the Watson’s will feel revitalised and at ease in their new kitchen.
