PIP Theatre is the brainchild of businesswoman and arts aficionado Deidre Grace, whose love of theatre and commitment to social justice awareness has led to the launch of PIP Theatre – an intimate 130-seat performance precinct in inner-city neighbourhood Milton.
PIP Theatre is a not-for-profit registered charity that harnesses the power of performing arts to effect social change. We provide paid opportunities for local creatives while championing theatre as a social enterprise. Our purpose is to embed powerful messages in the heart of each performance, planting the seeds of social change through our productions. As a professional production company and performing arts venue, we offer a platform for professional theatre producers to showcase their work while fostering creativity and diversity.
